LaRita M. Logan
LaRita currently serves as media manager and outreach associate at The Samuel DeWitt Proctor Conference. She possesses over 30 years of written and oral communications expertise, from writing detailed copy for press releases, articles for print and eNewsletters, to church bulletins and event announcements for various entities, both corporate and non-profit. She served as visual content editor of the Samuel DeWitt Proctor Conference landmark report on mass incarceration, entitled “Bearing Witness: A Nation in Chains.” LaRita is specifically responsible for developing and editing media content for SDPC websites, YouTube and Vimeo channels. She also manages social media engagement and collaborates on various outreach projects with local agencies that partner with SDPC. 

LaRita also brings over 15 years of experience in various areas of faith-based media outreach and ministry projects. She has coordinated with ministry teams to deliver the worship experience beyond church walls through social media engagement, audio recording, audio and video editing, DVD/CD duplication and sales. LaRita earned her Master of Divinity degree from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology of Virginia Union University.

Marsha Y. Johnson

Marsha is the President/CEO of Legacy Design Leaders, LLC.  Marsha brings over 30 years of experience of working with Fortune 500 companies producing a myriad of graphic design products. Marsha partners with Len Gar Media consultants on numerous projects as Web Master and Graphic Designer. Marsha started her business with the desire to help all types of organizations to create the items they needed. 
 

Cameron Hill
Cameron is a graduate of Governor's State University with a degree in Public Relations. He has worked within the communications industry for five years and currently works with Lengar Media as a Senior Trends Consultant. Despite his age, Cameron has the skill set needed to manage any job. Cameron has upwards of 10 years worth of graphic design experience, which he utilizes to its fullest extent. He provides a fresh experience to the team, as the newest member of the group. 

Jeri L. Wright
Jeri is a humanitarian and high‐performing, strategic‐thinking professional with over 30 years experience in non‐profit and entrepreneurial sects. Extremely capable with a commitment to achieve excellence through the development of creative programming and initiatives for the purpose of enhanced cultural competency in non-profit and for-profit environments.

With such skills and competencies as new business development, relationship building, public relations, branding, copyrighting, communication, media consulting, social media strategies and engagement, project management, strategic planning, non-profit consulting, staff management, policy development, budget planning and preparation, community organizing, fundraising, event production, editing, creative writing, publishing, creative video production, training and development, program development, and personal development coaching, Jeri is whom everyone wants on their team!

Putting those skillsets into action, Jeri is a change agent and consultant for countless businesses and industries including religious and social justice organizations, health care, restaurant and service, fashion and design, and education. She created and built a multi-million dollar media services department for the largest church in the United Church of Christ denomination, growing the department from a staff of one to a paid staff of 30 and 300 unpaid ministry partners/volunteers. Not only was Jeri the department director, she was the publisher and editor-in-chief of a newsmagazine, having taken the pastor’s request to transform it from a church magazine into a worldwide newsmagazine for the socially conscious. As of 2013, Jeri Wright became owner of Trumpet Newsmagazine.

Simultaneously, during Jeri’s tenure as media director, she was Chief Operations Officer (COO) of an obstetrics and gynecology medical practice. As COO, Jeri greatly enhanced the organizational development and daily operations of the medical practice resulting in a multi-million dollar medical practice within the first 12 months of existence.

Jeri is an entrepreneur dedicated to serving her community. She is the founder of the National Action Network Chicago Chapter. Most recently, Jeri became founder and Chief Executive Officer of L2 Productions, Inc., an integrated organization whose unique capabilities are exemplified where social justice, education, community engagement, and media intersect. Our mission is to design, create, and establish a unique holistic organizational excellence production that meets the needs of the client. We pride ourselves on developing a multi-level approach to bring our clients’ visions to fruition.

Jeri also owns and operates Wrighting Memories, writing, editing, producing, and publishing all genres of works including publications, training materials, obituaries, monthly publications, greeting cards, CD’s/DVD’s/mp4s, video tributes, magazines, and books.

Michael L. Peery
Michael is founder and principal owner of Len Gar Media Consultants (LGMC), a leading integrated marketing, public relations, and crisis management firm with specialized capabilities: segmented marketing, brand development, media relations, community/public affairs, and event planning.


Michael has contributed to the success of a number of high-profile brands, companies, people, and organizations: The National Medical Association, The Samuel DeWitt Proctor Conference, The Reverend Jesse L.
